    I have the solution to your inverter making your Battery go dead!

    Your gonna wanna hook your inverter to a big (Car) Battery and your remote inverter OFF/ON switch WIRES indirectly to this controller (Cut your Inverter ON/OFF toggle switch off and toss it replace with Bosch electric switch). Genius idea! Why don't they tell ya this in charm school?!!

    I hooked the Bosch electric switch pins 85 and 86 to the load side (Power out) of the Controller and the two wires of My Remote switch for my inverter to pins 30 and 87 and presto! Solar controller cycles the inverter On/Off all day, turning the inverter off when the battery gets low (Selectable voltage) No Sun and back on again when voltage is high (Selectable voltage) Bright Sun.

    I used 12.7 Volts for low [shut inverter off] and 13.7 volts for High [turn inverter back on again] for the Controller Selectable voltage parameters.
    Until another source is charging your Battery (Vehicles Alternator 14.4v) the system voltage will stay between
    12.7 and 13.7 volts (Works to discharge the Battery's "surface charge" only, Actually NOT discharging your battery at all. Night time Resting voltage for a Lead acid battery is 12.6V).
    Note: Using a lower voltage for shut off will not gain very much inverter on time and will cut your (Vehicle's) Battery (and your Vehicle's electrical system) life short.

    I then set the Solar panel voltage (Selectable voltage) to the Highest voltage setting which the system voltage will never reach because, of the inverter load. Now, since there is no load on the Controller out put, system voltage is controlled by the load of the inverter on the battery, system voltage is accurately, constantly measured by the controller load output on/off controls (Selectable voltage). Once all set up including correct On/Off voltages ...Works totally mindlessly automatically awesome, thus far!
    Note: IF your wires are too small from Controller to Battery, then your Battery could go below your Vehicle's start voltage (11.5 volts Minimum).

    Very cheap screw contacts for wires, but they work, display is OK. It does charge and hold a set voltage, so thats good. You will have to program it right, it replaced a almost exact $50.00 Windy Nation P30L similar more expensive unit that failed after a year. So it is worth the money if it holds out, for me it even went on the same screw holes.
