Question: Can this be used with solar panels hooked up in parallel?
Answer: This controlle work with solar panel and battery. Need wire your solar panel and battery to controller.
    Question: Is this American made?
    Answer: NO. Made in China
Question: Can these be used to charge nickel iron batteries?
    Answer: NO
Question: Can I use this with 12v charging wind/solar to 24v battery set up in order to support a 24v inverter?
Answer: NO. If your battery voltage is 24V, then your solar panel's voltage should higher than 24V, or it won't charge your battery. (Solar panel's voltage need always highter than your battery. )
Question: The wattage of my array equates to 3800watts running 24 volts. On the page description it says max input power is 3750, will it damage the system?
Answer: For 3800watts panel, We suggest update your battery to 36V. 3800watts for 24V, it is ok to work, but for long term use, it will damage controller. the best power for 24V system is about 2500W, 36V is about 3750W.
Question: on the dc output to power loads is it same voltage as my battery bank or can i use a 12v load out of controller?
Answer: For 100A 80A EPEVER controller, there is no LOAD terminal on the controller. recommend your load wire to battery side.
Question: What is the difference between running multiple charge controllers in parrallel with and without an pt-adp control module?
Answer: PT-ADP is a necessary part if you running multiple charge controllers. PT-ADP will manage your parallel controller work and communicate with each other.
Question: I asked if this change controller was a two wire start and your answer was no so what is port 6 and 7 for i it for utility generator relay on and off?
Answer: Do you mean controller's relay Terminal-7? yes, that is for generator on and off? Utility/Generator Relay and Load Parameter: Rated Value:5A/30VDC Maximum Value:0.5A/60VDC Utility/Generator start-up Voltage (VON)=Under Voltage Warning Voltage Utility/Generator stop Voltage (VOFF)= Under Voltage Warning Recover Voltage Low Voltage Disconnect Voltage (VLVD) VBAT<VON, Start-up the Utility/Generator working; VBAT>VON, Stop the Utility/Generator working; Detail description please find it in User Manual's Page 9 and Page 10
Question: What size fuse or breaker between battery and charge controler?
Answer: There is no specific requirement about the breaker or fuse.
Question: for 12 volt system this says the max is 1850 but the directions say 1250... and i have been waiting for a response for weeks
Answer: For 12v system, controller's Rated Charge Power is 1250W, its Max. PV Power is 1875W; This means, when you input 1875w solar power to controller, controller is ok to handle it and it won't broken, but it only use 1250w power to charge to battery(no good for controller). we recommend you only wire about 1250w power to controller.
Question: How I hookup a inverter to the chager?
Answer: Inverter need hookup to battery.
Question: What is that A/C dc charger in the diagram?
Answer: Can be ignored, is another energy which different from the solar energy charge battery when you think solar energy is not enough. Generally, it is not recommended to do it at the same time, as it may affect the solar controller's judgment of the battery voltage and lead to inaccurate charging.
Question: Is this one hundred amp charge controller a 2 wider or 4-wire generator start??
Answer: NO. This controller is for battery charging, not for generator start
Question: Can i charge a 24v tesla battery with this, using a 435w solar panel with a open circuit voltage (voc): 85.6 v and max power voltage (vmp): 72.9 v?
Answer: YES. For 24V system, can support solar panel power up to 2500W, and max voltage up to 100V.
Question: can i reprogram this to charge the tesla lithium batteries safely?
Answer: This 100A controller doesn't support lithium battery.
Question: how many volts is the max for solar input 12 volts.. i am not sure.??
    Answer: 150V.
Question: I will be building a 24 volt system and would like to know what is the max pv input voltage?
Answer: For 24V battery sytsem, max pv input voltage don't exceed 150, max input solar power don't exceed 2500W.
Question: Will this work with flooded lead acid batteries?
    Answer: yes.
Question: Pls answer this q asked previously: if fuse between the controller and battery blows and panels are still connected, will that damage the controller?
Answer: It's possible. If solar panel wire to controller, you must make sure controller read your battery and the battery work with controller properly. Then make your solar panel and controller connect. If battery damage, and solar panel still connect to controller, controller will damage. This because controller get too much power from your panel, but battery damage and there is no way for controller to transit those power, controller will damage.
Question: I have 10 500w 48v solar panels. will this system support all ten solar panels? what kind and how many batteries will i need? thanks!
Answer: 10 500w 48v solar panels suggest your battery use 48Vbattery,and use a 100A 48V solar charge controller
Question: If i have a 12 volt battery can i still pull 7500 watts from the solar panels?
Answer: NO.7500 watts only when your battery is 48V
Question: In the description, there is a conflict of data. 100 amp charge controller is this 48 volt 7500 max? or 48 volt 5000 watts?
Answer: Recomment wire about 5000watt power solar panel. But if your panel have to exceed 5000W, then never exceed 7500W. Rated charging power is 5000W in 48V volttage, for example, if your solar panel give 5500W power to controller, controller will use 5000W charge your battery, meantime, it will handle the extra 500W. So for long time use, we recommend you make your solar panel under 5000W which will prolong your controller's lift time.
Question: Will this work for 48v lithium ion?
Answer: NO. This controller doesn't support lithium battery.
